Hello all!! I am the owner and proprietor of Chrome Personal Training Centre, Inc. This profession is MY LIFE. I am in my 26th year as a personal trainer and I am proud to say that I have dedicated my life to helping people achieve their goals.
Growing up my love and focus was sports. I ran track and cross-country, but my love was basketball (played from 5th grade through college). A couple of years ago I also took up boxing and fell in love with it. There is no other workout like boxing, the intensity, the power, the contact... it is an amazing, invigorating rush!!!
Jerell, my son, is a great athlete in his own right. It is so exciting to see how being brought up in the gym has made him such a happy, healthy, vibrant young man! He is all about extreme sports!! Dirt biking, mountain biking, BMX, and has just recently added snowboarding to his list of go to's!!
I received my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (the study of the movement of the body) from NNU in 2000 and a certified as a personal trainer. My education benefits me and my clients a great deal, but my EXPERIENCE is what makes me GREAT at what I do. There is something to be said about being able to relate to clients on many levels and that is why they trust me to get them to where they DESERVE to be! I specialize in everything. HAHA! I started out training athletes, bodybuilders, and fitness competitors, but as the years have passed my clientele has become a wide array of amazing people with VERY different goals.
I am known as a "drill sergeant" for the fact that I "annihilate" my clients (regardless of fitness level). I am VERY TOUGH on my clients, but each one is guaranteed spectacular workouts. My clients receive 100% of my passion from the day they begin to work with me. I am a stickler on form (posture, alignment, correction of muscle imbalances) and I am very well versed in nutrition (NO diets!!!). I also despise excuses and can and will get around anything that a client throws at me. This is why my clients see RESULTS!!!!! Hi, my name is Darrick. If you are reading this, it only means that you have an interest in HEALTH AND FITNESS. Not only do you want to get in shape, but you want to stay in shape. I love every aspect of health and fitness. I enjoy sharing my views of it with others. I have been in and around the gym for 25+ years. I started weight training when I was a teenager and it has been an active part of my life since. I started weight training in 1993. I was only 116 lbs when I started. I was not strong by any means, but I was motivated and passionate enough to stick with weight training. In 1995, I did my first powerlifting competition. I placed 2nd in my weight class and 1st place the following year. As I put on more muscle, I gained greater strength. At my heaviest (238 lbs), I was unbeatable. I never thought I could lift so much, however, everytime I set a goal I would have to set another because I was reaching or surpassing those goals. Since I am such a competitive person health and fitness was not just a habit for me but a way of life. It consumed me for 17 years straight. I was in the gym twice a day, 5 days a week and I thought I knew everything there was to know. It was a hard pill to swallow when someone would show me something new. I had to quit acting like I knew everything. Once I got over that, that is when I started seeing better gains in both muscle mass and explosive power.
If you don’t know what your doing in the gym it is easy to go in one big circle. You will run into over-training, under-training, suffering from unnecessary injuries or just a lack of motivation, whatever it may be. I have been there, done that, and suffered them all.
I hold current certifications in Personal Training, CPR/AED certifications. My certifications are not what makes me a GREAT trainer, my EXPERIENCE is what defines me as a trainer. My experience is what allows me to help others avoid making the same errors that I did 25+ years ago when first starting out. As a trainer I’m all about results. My job is to get you the results that you came to CHROME seeking. I am happy to announce that as an employee of CHROME I am in the BEST POSITION that I have ever been in to make that happen and also to share with you my knowledge, experience, and education. It truly is amazing what you think you know versus what you actually know when it comes to your health and fitness.
Keep these things in mind:
1. Its easier to stay in shape than it is to get into shape.
2. Its easier to keep up than it is to catch up.
3. Athletes are not born they are created.

Hi, my name is Laura Sicilia. I have lived in Spokane my entire life. My husband and I live and work on the North side, and are raising our two beautiful daughters here. I am also a Licensed Massage Practitioner, and treat a lot of muscle imbalances and low back problems.
Personal training with the right trainer can help you in so many ways. I have always had a passion for fitness. I want to help others grow to love it! Health and fitness should always be incorporated into your life! I started training with Brooke Holloman about 2 ½ years ago. I thought I was in shape until we went through one of her 30min. sessions. I almost didn’t make it through the whole thing. It opened my eyes to a whole new way of resistance training. Since then I have ran ½ marathons and done many sprint triathlons. I loved running! In May 2011, I went through back surgery. I was devastated because it meant no more running. I decided to not let that get me down. I resumed my training with Brooke about 5 weeks after surgery, and am now in the best shape I have ever been!
As a Personal trainer I want to encourage others along the path of health and fitness and make them realize that all goals are attainable, but you must put the effort into it to get the reward. No matter what your fitness level is I will train you to the best of your ability. It might be hard sometimes but so worth it!

Hello there. My name is Paula Taylor. I have lived in the Spokane area for most of my life. My husband, Dave, and I have a beautiful home (that we built with our own hands) on 10 acres, North of town, where we have raised our five boys.
Love for fitness has always been in my heart but it wasn't until I became very ill that I realized how much I needed it just to LIVE. Within a three year timespan I underwent two brain surgeries, a back fusion, a cervical fusion and endured Bacterial Meningitis. I am well versed in chronic pain.
My diagnoses changed my world drastically and I was quite lost until I found CHROME seven years ago and enlisted the help of Brooke Holloman to help me get my health, body and mind in check! All these years later I am still here and better than ever.
My love for fitness has returned and I WILL NOT stop! Since my new beginning, I have competed in numerous Bikini and Figure competitions including placing top 5 in both National Level shows I competed in Summer 2016.
I have worked in Orthopedics for over 12 years as a Medical Assistant and completely enjoyed it. Recently, I felt it necessary to make a change. I truly feel that my love for health and fitness, coupled with my personal experience needs to be shared with others. It is my turn to be the teacher! I want to help educate those who have chronic pain and who have endured injuries, surgeries and other health issues.
Change is difficult, especially at 51 years of age, but it is so rewarding when lead by your personal experience and true passion. I am here and ready to help you! Let's work together towards your goals in a positive but challenging environment. See you soon!

I was born and raised in Spokane, WA. I am 40 years old and a single mother of two boys. I graduated from Ferris High School in the late 90’s where I was a 4-year varsity basketball player and starting goal keeper on the soccer team. I have loved sports, competition and weight lifting from a very young age. I fell in love with body building at a very young age as well, my dad used to take me on daddy/daughter dates to the local shows. I dreamed of standing up there and winning one of those
swords. I had my first son just out of high school and like so many women, gained a lot of weight. For years after that I dieted over and over, lost weight and gained it back… I spent so many years unhappy and uncomfortable in my own skin. At age 34, something changed in me, I realized that my thoughts and my relationship with food needed to change. I started working out again and watching my portion sizes. I lost 30 lbs. and decided to fulfill my long-time dream of competing in a bodybuilding show. I pushed myself to the limit for 18 weeks and couldn’t believe what I accomplished. It was the most amazing feeling not only to stand on that stage with my dad watching, but to win both my classes and the overall masters title (sword and all). Since then, I have competed in several shows and placed first seven times. I absolutely love the sport and hope to compete in a national show before I’m done.
After being a burned-out hair stylist for 15 years, I decided I wanted to make fitness my career. I am now an ACE certified personal trainer, I have experience teaching group fitness classes such as TRX, spin, boot camp, and weight training. I also have experience in sports performance training and love to help young athletes. I am not one of those trainers that has been fit my whole life and tells you its easy and to just DO IT! I know how hard it is to get in shape and to stay in shape, I won’t tell you it’s going to be easy, but I will tell you that it’s worth it. I love variety, you will never do the same workout twice with me, I will challenge you and be your biggest cheer leader. I want to help you feel good and improve your life through fitness.

Hey my name is Matt! I’m from post falls Idaho, born and raised. My wife and I moved back over here (post falls) about 4 years ago from Montana where I received my degree in health & human performance with a specialization in strength and conditioning from The University of Montana Western. While in college I played football on a full ride scholarship and as a senior was selected as an All-American Athlete! During that year I also had the opportunity to work with our head strength and conditioning coach for my internship. There we began Developing and implementing the off season workouts for the team!
After college I was invited to an NFL pro day (scouting combine) as well as two private workouts. I had no idea how to train or even get ready for these events, so I studied countless plans and programs that had a bunch of promises plus guarantees. I just began to feel overwhelmed and lost. After my pro day disappointment I promised to devoted myself to learning how to properly train myself and others for specific goals.
Growing up I was always playing sports. I was a three sport athlete in high school. For me being active and living a healthy lifestyle is what I know and what I love.
Today I focus on my wife, kids and clients to implement everything I have learned thus far, and continue to learn everyday in hopes to helping them reach their ultimate fitness goals to live the life they want.

Hello, my name is Sophia. I have been physically active and an athlete for most of my life, I started playing sports at the age of five. In high school I was a part of a performance training class where I coached fellow classmates and under classmen in strength training, functional movements and Olympic lifts. I have been strength training since I was 15 years old. I have learned so much through my schooling and personal experience!!
Being a trainer at CHROME is not only a job that I love and enjoy being a part of, but this gym has helped me escape from the world and really focus on me physically and mentally. One would never think that a job can also be one’s safe place outside of work. But, CHROME is that for me, and the environment is not like other gyms!! It is a rare find!
I am currently a senior attending Eastern Washington University working to earn my BA in Exercise Science with a minor in Personal Training. I am CPR/AED certified. I enjoy working with all ages, genders and different backgrounds. I specialize in strength training and functional training... I love pushing my clients to their limits and perfecting form! I want the clients I train to reach their goals by pushing them to stay consistent, motivated, and disciplined, while continuing to step through the doors of CHROME and get a great session every time they are with me. I want my clients to become healthier, stronger mentally and physically, to build their confidence, and to love themselves from the inside out.

I recently joined the Chrome Team after moving to Spokane this year. I traveled from Baton Rouge, LA to join my girlfriend, Franchesca, and our two dogs Taz and Ben.
My love for fitness and health started after a hamstring injury ended my high school track and field career. This is when I began to focus on weight training and weightlifting. A couple years later, I trained and competed in my 1st bodybuilding/physique competition. After 3 years of training for the sport, I widened my range by participating in other forms of exercise such as CrossFit and Recreational Sports (basketball and football). I then became certified through ACE as a personal trainer.
My goal is to teach everything I’ve learned about health and fitness to others, so that they have the opportunity to become healthier and happier!
